In terms of employees’ mental outlook, Dickinson said that feedback during the meeting indicates they are still engaged with the credit union, but an element of fatigue has set in.

“Things are just a bit heavy now,” she acknowledged.

If the pandemic persists well into next year, Dickinson said STCU would likely hold another check-in event with its staff.

“This is an interesting thing for us, a new way to convene and connect,” said Dickinson. “And coming out of this pandemic, maybe this is an event we fine-tune and continue to hold.” Read More
