NAFCU Jan. 19, 2012 – NACHA – The Electronic Payments Association announced a microsite yesterday that can help credit unions and their members better understand the ACH payment network and NACHA’s operating rules.
The site was launched as part of NACHA’s “New Year, New Messaging” initiative, which seeks to provide industry participants with consistent messaging, term definitions and phrasing to use when explaining the ACH network and payments.
The microsite provides information on direct deposits and direct payments via ACH. It also includes an FAQ section and communication resources such as press releases, standardized messaging for social media and letters that credit unions can use to inform their members about the ACH network.
In announcing the microsite, NACHA encouraged all network participants to review the site’s resources and incorporate the new terminology, phrasing and messaging in their communications.
“Celebrating 25 Years of Service: Unite, Ignite, and Empower” “We train and support volunteer leaders of credit unions serving first responders to run stronger, more effective institutions.” “Great things happen when credit unions serving first responders come together. Our face-to-face and on-line interaction is the platform where collaboration begins, and GREAT ideas are generated.”
