FF LODD FOLLOWUP:
WFC FF Brian Carroll was honored for his bravery in Worcester today after he
was seriously injured in a December fire that took the life of his friend and
fellow Firefighter Jon Davies. The first five minutes was absolute hell,said
Carroll, speaking out for the first time since the deadly fire.
Carroll and his partner, the late Jon Davies, were among the Worcester
firefighters that arrived on Arlington Street last December. They were trapped
after a portion of the burning building collapsed on them while they were
searching for a possible victim. Carroll was injured, Davies was killed in the
Line of Duty.
