All credit unions periodically face the critical challenge of recruiting and selecting a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Credit union operations should not be interrupted with a CEO change. The credit union’s board of directors (board) is responsible for identifying qualified candidates, vetting them, and ensuring that the best candidate for their credit union is hired.
