Kevin Mahan of CUBED Will Address Executive Benefits in San Diego

Kevin Mahan will be the keynote speaker at the "Directors Only" session Thursday 1:00 -2:00 pm.  and will be speaking on executive benefits and compensation.

Kevin Mahan is a graduate of University of California at Santa Barbara in Mathematics and has earned the designation of Enrolled Actuary (EA) by the Joint Board for the Enrollment of Actuaries. He is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (MSPA). Commencing an actuarial career in 1977, Kevin continues to study and practice in both qualified plans and non-qualified plans. His work within the non-qualified area has been exclusively with credit unions for the past eleven years.

In 2012 CUBED was formed to serve as a resource for credit union boards.  At many credit unions Kevin Mahan saw a large knowledge gap with respect to directors understanding the need, measurement, implementation, documentation, accounting, funding and oversight of executive benefits.  CUBED  serves as the unbiased advisory liaison between directors and vendors of credit union executive benefits.
